Icelandic Sheep Fur

Icelandic sheep fur. The hairs are between eight and ten inches long, with a soft underfur that's six inches long or less. The colours on the sheep fur are dyed from white and the results are very very bright. Another fine point is how it compresses so well at the tie in point, thus allowing you to stack colors without causing excess bulk, also known as streamer hair, icelandic sheep fur although quite an expensive fly tying fur is a popular choice and is provided in quite large patches.
